Our youth group will meet on Sunday evenings here at the church beginning at 6:30 pm
Supplies to Afganastan
There will be a box placed in the back of the church with a list of
supplies that Sam Shehata could use during his tour to Afganastan. If you would like to donate any of these items,
it would be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions, please contact Sam's mother, Patty Ginder at pattybear@columbus.rr.com
Also, we would like to make addresses available of our youth who are away at school or in the military so that we
may occasionally send them notes of encouragement as the Lord brings them to our remembrance. Please turn in any addresses
and emails to Cyndi Hargett so that we can make a listing.

Sam's Club Membership
Anyone wishing to buy membership to Sam's Club through our church
membership is able to be added to our annual renewal. Please contact Donna White. The yearly membership is $35.00
Ladies Retreat
The annual ECL (Evangelical Christian Ladies) retreat is scheduled for
October 22-23, 2010. The same speakers are scheduled this year. You will especially not want to miss Dr. Tammy
Smith. Brochures are on the back table for more information. Early bird registrations will be due by August 28th,
so begin to plan and budget now.
Church T-Shirts
We will soon be ordering new t-shirts with our church logo on the front.
The winning design is "The Church has Left the Building". Shirt colors are available in hot pink, turquoise
blue and charcoal gray. Please be sure to mark your color choice as one of these three colors and also mark your size.
Payment is due on Sunday, July 25th. Please place your payment in an offering envelope and write "t-shirt"
on the outside. Shirts will be available on the day of Family Fun Day.
Family Fun Day News & Updates
This year's Family Fun Day is scheduled for July 31st beginning
10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Mark that on your calendar today and plan to be part of our biggest outreach event of the year.
Also, immediately following services on Sunday, July 25th, we will need volunteer's
to help hang door tags in the community advertising our Family Fun Day. The more help we have the faster this can get
done.
There is a sign up sheet located on the back table for volunteer's to
help at FFD, please choose a station to work if you are available. Station's are set up in 2 hour increments.
VBS Need
The local UMC is holding a VBS in August. They would like our help
in saving paper towel rolls. Please save your empty rolls throughout the month of July. You may bring them in
at any time.
