Update on Donnie Thimmes June 25, 2010
Donnie Thimmes of Sugar Grove, was on a call for the Berne Union Fire Department as a volunteer in April 2010 and came in contact with downed live wires. He has been in and out of the SICU at Ohio State Medical Center with severe burns. Donnie has had several operations and is doing great. It is my understading that he will soon be doing physical therapy. Please keep his recovery and his family in your prayers. He will be in there quite a while. Marilyn Martin has requested prayer for her friend Donna Kness, as she is in the hospital and her cancer has come back.

Diane Jenkins, a friend of Cyndi Hargett's has a brother named Mark Hedges who is in need of prayer. He has been fighting cancer in his face for some time, but is currently having issues with issues resulting from his cancer treatment. He may be looking at losing his eye. He has had ongoing issues with infetion in his face that they can't seem to get under control and is in tremendous pain.
UPDATE: July 19 Mark had surgery on Tuesday. It appears things went well and they are hopeful that he can finally begin the healing process and try and get his life back on track. However, he is currently having issues with a large blood clot in his leg. They will try to put in a screen tomorrow to get it. Please pray that this will get under control and also that he will continue to do well. He is still critical and things could go either way.

Jeanette Walker has an urgent prayer request for her dad. She spoke with him on July 14 and he had been in the hospital for three days. They wanted to keep him longer, but he doesn't have health insurance and checked himself out against the Dr's better judgement. They told him that his kidney's are failing and they were shutting down. She is very concerned as to what is going to happen to him. His name is Jim Romine and he is 60 years old. She is trying desperately to get him to get insurance and go see a nephrologists (Kidney Specialist). At this point she doesn't know since he hasn't had insurance if they will say this is a pre-existing condition. Please keep him in your prayers.
